The ONLY thing you need to be confident (It’s not what you think)

You don’t lack confidence. You just lack connection to yourself.
You don’t lack self-esteem. You just lack self-awareness.

For a long time, I thought confidence was the problem. I thought I didn’t have enough of it. I thought I had to be more confident before I could go after, create, or receive what I truly desired.

And because of that, I waited.
I was waiting for the day when I would finally have enough confidence.

Confidence to start my business.
Confidence to take on clients.
Confidence to get into a relationship.
Confidence to finally be the woman everyone else looked up to.

But shocker alert—it never came.

And you might be in the same place. You may be working on your confidence, thinking that in order to feel it you have to act like you have it. You may think you need to act successful, look successful, achieve more, dress better, or look prettier.

And in love too, maybe you’ve thought that in order to attract your soulmate you need to embody the magnetic muse, the glowing goddess, that aura, that essence. You may even scroll through videos of women who seem to have it all, thinking, If I could just look like her, be like her, then I’d finally have the peace, the love, the happiness I’m searching for.

But my dear one—that confidence will never come.

Because what you’re looking for isn’t confidence. It’s connection. It’s realization. It’s the truth of who you are.

And you just haven’t seen it yet.

The False Self

Many people confuse confidence with something external.

You think your bank account is you.
You think your relationship status is you.
You think your looks, your makeup, your clothes are you.

So you wait. You wait until your bank account hits a certain number, until you finally have that slim-thick body, or until you can fix something about yourself—maybe through surgery, maybe through skincare.

But confidence doesn’t come from those things.

Because here’s the truth: as long as you’re fixing one thing, there will always be another thing to fix. Even if you get the perfect jawline, the perfect skin, the perfect body—you’ll still compare yourself to someone else who has “better.”

That’s why confidence built on externals will never last.

It’s the same with money. Not that money isn’t important, but if you believe your confidence comes from your career or your bank account, you’ll always be waiting for “someday.”

And in love—you may think your confidence is tied to your following, your body, your image. But even if you have all of that, there will always be more to attain.

External things are temporary. None of them are eternal.

The Truth of Who You Are

Yes, you can play with makeup, fashion, achievements, and beauty. All of that is part of the game. But none of it defines you.

Because you are not the game. You are the player.

And you can’t find the player by looking at the pieces on the board.

That’s why real confidence never arises until you realize: You are none of it—and you are all of it.

You are beyond it.
You are the self.
The self that sees it all, loves it all, accepts it all.

And until you realize this truth, your confidence will always waver. A negative comment might crush you. A breakup might shatter you. Losing a job, a client, or an opportunity might feel like it breaks you.

But here’s the paradox: it’s in those moments of losing it all that you actually discover it all. You find that who you really are is unshakable, eternal, and free.

What you’ve been searching for isn’t confidence.
What you’ve been searching for… is you.

The you who has always been there. The you who cannot be broken.
